I almost immediately started planning another Zeppelin piece upon completion of my last Page/Plant (Our Shadows Taller than Our Souls) piece. Due to the fact that the first painting was more of a concept piece, some degree of realism was sacrificed in order to accomplish the overall idea. I hadn’t planned on revisiting so soon, however I was incredibly inspired by a person who had attended a recent art show in Vegas. While viewing the first Zeppelin offering, I was told of a story of this particular customer seeing Zeppelin in Madison Square Garden as a youth. As he told his story it was clear that viewing my piece had transported him to another time and place and it seemed this experience came flooding back. I found this exchange one of the most rewarding in my career, it was almost validation of what I ultimately am trying to accomplish with my art.
