No great rock band is complete without a legendary wild man drummer. Following in the footsteps of Keith Moon (The Who) and John Bonham (Zeppelin), Tommy Lee has more than lived up to the part.  Known as much for his off stage adventures and persona as his unique drum kits and playing style, Tommy established himself as the bad boy in a band full of bad boys. I have been lucky enough to see Motley a bunch of times over the years and his inventive drum solos have become a staple of each show and are outshone only by his personality when he grabs the mic. I chose the Shout at the Devil era for this piece to stay true to what I am trying to accomplish collectively with this Quadriptych (four panel painting).
