"Again, I do make a concerted effort not to become a celebrity artist and specialize in my muse (music). Once again, however, I was intrigued by request from a collector to do a movie based vampire piece. I agreed to stray from my usual subject matter on one condition – the piece had to be very dark and stylish. As we discussed conceptual ideas, I challenged/pushed him to agree to go very dark. We eventually agreed that no other vampire movie was as dark, stylish and true to origin of the genre as Bram Stokers Dracula featuring Gary Oldman (circa 1992)." -Stickman
